Private Pilot License - PPL
This license serves as an introduction to aviation, allowing you to privately operate a single-engine piston aircraft, such as a Cessna, Cirrus, or Piper, for non-commercial purposes. It provides a solid foundation to gain experience and expand your knowledge while flying for leisure or business travel. As you progress, you may choose to further your training in general aviation and pursue additional ratings or pilot licenses.
This license enables you to serve as a First Officer on multi-crew air transport aircraft, such as the Airbus A320 or Boeing 737, and pursue a career with airlines, transforming your passion into a profession. To fully exercise these privileges, obtaining the relevant Type Rating after acquiring the license is required. The CPL (Commercial Pilot License) is often referred to as a "frozen" ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License). Although this term is not officially recognized, it is commonly used among trainee pilots and sometimes within the broader aviation industry.
COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE - CPL
This highest level of pilot certification qualifies you to become an airline Captain. To convert a CPL (Commercial Pilot License) into a full ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License), a pilot must accumulate a minimum of 1,500 flight hours (or meet the requirements set by the airline) to be eligible for the practical ATPL examination. Additionally, completing the ATPL theoretical coursework is a prerequisite.
